Zeina Maalouf
Zeina Maalouf, Gender Mainstreaming Training and Reporting Coordinator at the National Commission for Lebanese Women
Maalouf is an expert and trainer in relational communication and a member of the Association Libanaise pour la Communication Relationnelle (ALCR). She is also a Counselor (socio-éducatif) providing psychosocial support to persons with cancer, their family members, and caregivers. She has studied Mediation at the Professional Mediation Center (CPM) at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut (USJ).
She is the co-founder and president of Club Famille, a non-profit NGO that promotes a culture of peacebuilding among Lebanese and non-Lebanese families, provides psychosocial support to family members, and empowers individuals – particularly marginalized groups – on multiple levels.
Maalouf is also a producer and presenter of TV programs focused on promoting a culture of peacebuilding. Addiotionally, she co-founded and is an active member of Halakat Al Hiwar El Thakafi, an NGO that promotes peacebuilding and cultural dialogue among Lebanese citizens.
She is an International Election Observer, certified by the Arab Women Organization, and a member of the Network of ILO-Certified Participatory Gender Audit Facilitators.
