Wadiaa Khoury (PhD), Associate Professor and Researcher at Saint-Joseph University and the Lebanese University

Khoury worked as a researcher with Tempus Euro-Med projects, a senior coach with USAID, and a curriculum designer and senior coach with Adyan Foundation and CERD. In 2020, she conducted postdoctoral research as a visiting Fulbright Scholar at Florida State University.

Khoury has been part of Initiatives of Change International since 2001, working though IofC in over 20 countries on trust building and reconciliations initiatives. She served as a member of IofC’s International Council from 2017 to 2019.
Khoury is the founder of the Association “TASC: Teachers as Agents of Social Change.” She also initiated BBAZ: Beirut bi Aleb Zahle in response to the Beirut Blast, where more than 15 entities from Zahle collaborated to rebuild a street in Beirut.

She continues to be active in various initiatives with the Zahle Diaspora and the Comité d’aide Scolaire de Zahle, addressing the needs arising from Lebanon’s ongoing crisis since 2019.
