The Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda is a global framework that acknowledges the critical role of women as agents of change in advancing international peace and security. In Lebanon, the establishment of the Women’s Peacebuilding Network in Lebanon is a key commitment under the country’s National Action Plan on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (2019–2022), reinforcing the importance of women’s leadership in conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
