Johanna Hawari Bourjeily
Johanna Hawari Bourjeily, Founder and Director of the Professional Mediation Center (CPM) at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut
Hawari Bourjeily is specialized in mediation and relational communication. She pursued studies in law and criminology and worked as a criminal lawyer at the Court of Appeal in Paris. In 2005, she founded the association Médiateurs Sans Frontières Liban, which aims to train and promote intercultural mediation. She is a member of several international organizations, including the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen, the Mediterranean Women Mediators Network, the Association of European Mediators (AME), and the Scientific Council of the Center for Mediation and Arbitration of the Chamber of Franco-Arab trade in Paris.
She is a trainer in mediation, communication, relational development, and leadership collaborating with universities in Lebanon, France, and the Arab world and with associations, companies, municipalities, and hospitals across various fields.
She is a mediator in international, commercial, family, intercultural, and social mediation and works with the CPM, the AME, the Center for Mediation and Mediation Training in Paris (CMFM), and the French Ministry of Justice. She also serves as a consultant on mediation structures in private and public institutions in Lebanon and France.
