Jessica Abou Haidar Matar, a media and communications consultant

Abou Haidar collaborates with multiple local and international organizations that promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to bring people of different backgrounds together as key pathways to peace.

In addition to her work as a media and design consultant, she is a trainer specializing in the use of digital media for positive impact and strategies for engaging in interfaith dialogue.

She is a fellow of the KAICIID dialogue center, a member of Adyan Foundation’s Religious Social Responsibility Forum, and a member of the pilot program of EDIN by UNAOC and UNCCT, which aims to empower dialogue and interfaith networks.

Abou Haidar has launched multiple media campaigns tackling topics such as reconciliation, diversity, and citizenship. She holds an MA in art direction from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) at the University of Balamand, and university diplomas in Theology and spiritual direction from the University of Saint Joseph, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Media and Digital Cultures at the SOAS Institute, University of London.
